Valodu apguve: problēmas un perspektīva

Laiveniece, Diāna (ed.). Language Acquisition: Problems and Perspectives : Conference proceedings, XVI. Liepāja : LiePA, 2020. p. 368

Applied linguistics combines linguistic research that is useful for solving real-life problems. Language acquisition is an important part of applied linguistics – every day millions of people around the world spend their time learning a new language for a wide variety of reasons.

The sixteenth multilingual collection of scientific articles of the University of Liepāja (LiepU) “Language Acquisition: Problems and Perspectives” includes articles that reveal the problems of acquiring both – the mother tongue and a foreign language from pre-school education to adult language learning. The collection is based on reports read at the 16th LiepU International Scientific Conference on May 17, 2019.

The articles included in the collection have been anonymously reviewed and indexed in the EBSCO database, as well as electronically available in the Digital Library of the National Library of Latvia.
